S K Das is an experienced and top level finance professional, and in his career spanning over four decades, he has advised several Indian corporate on their strategic and financials requirements, especially, raising off-shore funds be it equity, mezzanine or senior debts in Infrastructure including Logistics, Healthcare, Edutech, Hospitality, Real Estate, and Manufacturing sector.
Das has hands-on experience in raising funds for India focused private equity funds from the global sources of LPs interested in investing in India. He is well versed with the dynamics of Venture Funding in India including mentoring of startups. His transaction experience includes advising and assisting large Private Equity funds, Venture Capital Funds and strategic investors in their investment and asset management activities by providing confidence in their proposed investments.
With over 40 years’ experience in financial services, he worked as CEO of Aura Fincorp, Torrence Capital and Interglobal Capital before joining Transcontinental. He was also CEO of Concept2 for seven years where he was involved managing private equity funds as India Advisors.
An MA (Economics), Das started his career as Officer with State Bank in 1979 and held various important assignments in India and USA. He was in the core team of setting up a very successful Private Bank in India. He has also been trained at Euromoney institute, New York and J.L Kellogg Business School in Illinois, London Business School, IIM Kolkata, NIBM Pune, and American Business Association. He has also been a panelist at IIM Ahmedabad.
Silpa Masineni, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, is MBBS by profession and looks after Transcontinental’s USA business. She is a Real estate investor and certified International Property Specialist too. She has demonstrated history of working with healthcare, logistic, real estate and education funding specially with startups and brings on board many years of experience in deal making, cross border investments and counter party negotiations. Her strength lies in seed and venture funding in all innovative business propositions.
Jiten has over 10 years of experience in investment banking with focus on developing business plan, financial modelling, equity valuation, providing strategies for exit options and nurturing and value addition to startup companies. He also possesses hands on knowledge of equity research and market research across various sectors in India. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Program, from CFA institute, USA.
Divye has about 10 years of experience in business valuation, fund raising and mergers and acquisitions, having worked with various reputed companies before joining Transcontinental in 2020. He brings with him experience across geographies such as India, USA, Singapore, Europe and various industries such as manufacturing, retail, e-commerce etc. He is well versed with the dynamics of listing Indian mid cap companies in Capital Market in India, Alternative Investment Market, London and Luxembourg. He has also been engaged in valuation and financial modeling as per global standards.
